Thankfully, they shouldn’t have to wait much longer. According to WindowsUnited, some Insiders using Outlook Mail now have Focused Inbox. Labeled ‘Relevant’, it splits emails into two categories, with the most important at the forefront. The feature came to Android and iOS over three years ago and Windows 10 in February, alongside a promise of expansion. Originally, Microsoft said it would roll out features across platforms simultaneously, but that hasn’t been the case. Either way, Focused Inbox is available to some Release Preview Insiders, but not to those in the Fast Ring. We expect it to roll out in waves once more feedback has been acquired. It’s hard to say if the feature will roll out with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, but it shouldn’t be too long now that testing has begun.
WIndows 10 Mobile Fall Anniversary Update Features
Speaking of the Fall Creator’s Update, it will soon treat Windows 10 Mobile to more functionality. Microsoft has confirmed its new Fluent Design System will be coming to the platform, alongside some other minor changes. One is the ability to manually adjust the orientation of Continuum, which will be useful when using an external monitor in portrait mode. There’s also support for the latest Unicode updates, adding new snack, animal, and fantasy emojis. For privacy conscious users, there will be the ability to make changes quickly while via a dedicated page. There’s also a total of 61 fixes, from battery drain issues to Continuum.
