The new Bing Shopping experience is designed to help users find the best deals more easily. To do this, Microsoft’s search engine collects products from various sellers across the web. These products are brought to a single location where they can be compared and filtered. It is easy to find the cheapest deals for the same product before being linked directly to the seller’s website to complete the purchase. Microsoft says the feature works for most products you could think of. Black Friday is also imminent, and Bing has us covered. Microsoft has debuted a Black Friday flyers page. This new section of the search engine shows all the major Black Friday ads from the US. Not every deal is on these flyers, but they are a good starting point. Certainly, they give an idea of what a retailer is offering. The new shopping-related Bing abilities do not end there. Microsoft has expanded its package tracking feature to the United Kingdom and Canada. It was previously available in the US to track USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages. In the UK, the system supports myHermes and in Canada it supports Purolator. As in the United States, users can simply put their tracking ID into Bing and the engine will surface the latest tracking status.
Microsoft Pay
Before the holiday season, paying for goods may be easier on Edge and Chrome. Microsoft has debuted its Microsoft Pay solution, which replaces Microsoft Wallet. By leveraging the Payment Request API, the app can allow easy payment option on web and mobile. The app is not ready yet, but it shipped with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Expect to see it launch soon.
