Warning: Make sure you back up the registry before following these instructions. Any unintentional changes in the registry could corrupt your system and possibly lead to data loss. First Press Windows + R, type regedit in the Run dialog and hit the enter key to open the Windows registry. Now move to the following : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > CurrentVersion > Schedule > Maintenance Here right-click on Maintenance -> New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
Then Name the Newly created DWORD value As MaintenanceDisabled as shown image below. Now Double click on New created value (MaintenanceDisabled) to Modify it. Enter value 1 To Disable Windows 10 Automatic Maintenance. Click ok and Restart windows To take effect the changes. Next double-click the entry to modify it and enter 1 as its value. This will enable this entry, therefore disable maintenance. A PC restart is required for the changes to take effect.
And To re-enable Automatic Maintenance, just modify the same entry again and add 0 as its value.
